We want AUsome to be accurate and trustworthy. If you spot an error, an outdated fact, or a broken link, we want to know about it.
How to report an issue
Please use our contact form and include the article title or link, and a short description of what needs fixing. We read every message.
How we handle corrections
- Factual errors (an incorrect date, statistic, or claim) are corrected directly in the article as soon as we can verify the fix.
- Significant corrections, where the original claim was materially wrong, are noted at the bottom of the article along with the date of the correction.
- Outdated information, such as changed guidance, services, or eligibility criteria, is updated when we become aware of the change, and we welcome readers flagging it.
- Broken or dead links are fixed or removed.
We do not quietly rewrite articles to hide mistakes. If a correction changes the substance of what we said, we say so on the page.
